Lettings Administrator – Finchley, N12

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Lettings Administrator to join our clients based in Finchley, N12 to provide administration support to the Lettings team.

This role is to provide administration support and to ensure the smooth running of the lettings department.

Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

  • Checking necessary paperwork is in place for all properties and tenants in line with government regulations
  • Preparation of ASTs
  • Registering deposits
  • Booking inventories and checkouts
  • Invoicing
  • Dealing with property maintenance issues
  • Liaising with landlords, tenants and workpeople to arrange repairs and finance
  • Carrying out property inspections
  • Liaising with solicitors/insurance companies re evictions (on occasion)
  • Court attendance on behalf of landlord (rare)
  • You would also be required to carry out the occasional property viewing or valuation

The Successful Applicant will need to possess the following skills:

  • Minimum 1 years experience within a similar role
  • Should be confident, well-presented and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Professional, positive, ambitious and enthusiastic approach
  • Previous experience with a lettings software would be an advantage
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Accuracy is essential
  • This role involves working under pressure therefore candidates must be able to multi-task
  • This is a demanding role requiring a person with patience and efficiency.

The hours will be:          

Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm

Saturday (Working every other Saturday with a day in Lieu 5-day week)

Salary range will be:     

£25,000pa to £30,000pa
