Property Administrator – Southend on Sea, SS1

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property administrator to join our Client based in Southend on Sea, SS1

Due to further expansion of their portfolio our Client is seeking an enthusiastic and organised individual to join our existing team as an Administrator. The role will be cross-departmental aiding both the subletting and property management teams.

The role would suit a highly organised individual with strong written skills and will provide a superb foundation for further progression within the business.

Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

  • Working as part of a busy team to administer all subletting enquiries for the business.
  • Maintaining our database with accurate and up to date information.
  • Answering correspondence in written format.
  • Dealing with customers on the phone and taking accurate note of their details for processing.
  • Reviewing leases, liaising with both in- house and external solicitors and negotiating files.
  • Producing licences and other legal documents from precedents templates.
  • Providing full administrative assistance to the property management team when required.
  • General team and office assistance including reception coverage (during holidays) and general telephone enquiries.

The Successful Applicant will need to possess the following skills:

  • Knowledge of the property industry is desirable but not essential
  • Highly organised and comfortable handling a high volume of transactions.
  • Strong written and grammatical skills as much correspondence will be in writing.
  • Ability to communicate with confidence at all levels and by telephone.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount.
  • Strong IT skills including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Good customer service approach and the ability to handle issues and queries with professionalism

The hours will be:          

Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm

Salary range will be:     

£18,000p to £20,000pa
