Service Charge Accounts Coordinator - Chingford E4 ( Hybrid Working) 

An independent residential managing agent based in Chingford E4 are currently searching for a highly organised Service Charge Accounts Coordinator . Would consider someone working remotely 1-3 days per week.

Working with like-minded, team playing and ambitious individuals the role will consist of the following key duties and will also require the following key attributes.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Assisting in the preparation of the year end accounts, including reviewing figures and finalising with the directors
  • Entering accruals and prepayments once accounts finalised
  • Working closely with the Block Managers in respect of producing and reviewing budgets
  • Regular review of income, expenditure, and cash flow on blocks
  • Preparation of income/expenditure reports
  • Assisting with preparation for AGM’s where required in a financial capacity
  • Raising and issuing of service charge and ground rent demands
  • Receiving and allocating the service charge income
  • Receiving and allocating ground rent income and remitting to freeholders
  • Performing bank reconciliations
  • Entering and paying of supplier invoices
  • Being first point of contact for leaseholder and client accounts related enquires
  • Being first point of contact for contractor payment related queries

The Successful Applicant will need to possess the following skills:

  • At least 2 years’ experience managing service charge accounts
  • Highly organised and attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator both verbally and written
  • Good communications skills with customers, clients and other members of staff
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft software - word, excel

This Property Accounts position is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate.

The hours will be:                            Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm or 8:30am to 5pm

Salary range will be:                       between £30,000pa to £36,000pa
